Webhosting

Webhosting is intended for academic domains from CVUT.CZ only. The operation of other domains must be approved by CESNET.

Webhosting is powered by ISPConfig. You can use the web interface to manage your web portals, databases and FTP servers. You can run your own PHP/Perl/Python/Ruby scripts, create databases (MySQL) and edit them using the integrated phpMyAdmin tool. There is also CRON task planning, domain statistics, and a number of pre-built applications.

If you want to create mojedomena.fel.cvut.cz domain, create the domain using the ISPconfig utility and then ask the DNS administrator to create and redirect the mojedomena.fel.cvut.cz DNS record. If you want to extend the storage capacity, number of accounts, applications, or databases, please contact the service administrator by helpdesk.

The possibility of DNS record editing is necessary for running your own pages. If you are registered in fel.cvut.cz (or feld.cvut.cz) domain, please contact SVTI by helpdesk. In the case of a non-faculty domain, it is necessary to edit the zone DNS record on the Registrar's website. Redirect this record using the alias CNAME to glumhosting.feld.cvut.cz, for example test.mydomain.cz CNAME glumhosting.feld.cvut.cz. The academic focus of non CTU domains must be approved by CESNET.
