Your account and IT security

  • CTU password and FEE password Your username is your unique identifier on a computer network, and you need to know the appropriate password. Knowing this password allows any person to act on your behalf, so never share it with anyone!
  • CTU card The CTU card for students and employees allows entrance to the building, access to study rooms and use of self-service printing and copying.
  • Regulations, policies Our services have rules and conditions that must be followed.

E-mail, telephony and collaboration

  • E-mail server Every student and employee has an e-mail address in the fel.cvut.cz domain. It is the duty of all to read the E-mails sent to this official address and to communicate within CTU exclusively from this address.
  • Sending large files If you need to send or share large files (up to 500 GB), you can use the FileSender service operated by CESNET.
  • E-mail for graduates Every student can continue using his/her faculty email address up to 3 years after graduation (redirection to private address).
  • Google Apps For creating, sharing and storing your documents, and cooperation with others, you can use Google Apps for Education.
  • Microsoft Office 365 For creating, sharing and storing your documents, and cooperation with others, you can use Microsoft Office 365.

  • FEE Helpdesk Non-functional lights, the tap leaking, weak projector lamp, the mail does not work? Report it via FEE Helpdesk.
  • CTU Helpdesk KOS, FIS, FES, V3S or other university systems not working? Report it via CTU Helpdesk.
  • Regulations, policies Our services have rules and conditions that must be followed.

Devices, applications, networks and printing

  • Wireless network (wifi) In all CTU buildings and sites, but also in other academic institutions in the country and abroad, there is a wireless internet connection within Eduroam network available.
  • Copy & print self-service The self-service copy and print system is available using non-cash payments by CTU Card.
  • Software and multilicences There are many software licenses and multi-licenses available for employees and students, either within the FEE or CTU.
  • VPN It allows remote access to FEE network due to the services provided exclusively for clients in the CTU address network range.
  • Faculty data storage FAPP We operate a data storage system for the needs of workplaces and research teams.
  • Novell This service is going to be canceled. Few departments still use this service.

Support for teaching and science

  • Study system - KOS A web application that supports the CTU study agenda. All the activities connected with the study are realized in this system, from admission to the university, the recording of the study results, to the state final examination.
  • Study materials - Moodle, CourseWare Two systems - faculty Moodle and CourseWare - are used to store study materials.
  • Academic portal Information about the study at one place - interactive timetable, an overview of test terms, tasks and events, practical notifications, smart search.
  • Computer rooms Computer rooms are intended for FEE students to fulfill their study duties. Some are scheduled, others have free access.
  • Libraries Provides library and information base for education, science, research and creative activities of the University. The Central CTU Library is an all-university workplace.
  • Templates for final work in LaTeX Templates for final works in LaTeX. Do not hesitate to test the templates and send feedback.

  • Live streaming We provide capture, recording, and transmission of live image and sound to the Internet. We also provide consulting and support for special transfers and non-standard scenarios in seminars, lectures, or lessons.

Development and website services

  • Virtualization We offer installation and operation of virtual servers on our virtualization infrastructure, as well as consulting for users of external cloud solutions.
  • Webhosting We offer the establishment and operation of web space on a server with a regularly updated environment.
